Lok Paritran (Alas Serious Indeed)...

Lok Paritran party know to all as "Former IITians forming a political party".The party is contesting elections this May .It is looking for candidates to contest.

Any social cause needs finance and support and I hope the Indian diaspora that has been talking , complaining about the state of affairs back home will take steps to donate generously.I have emailed requesting the folks at the helm of affairs to create a Web Based method of sending money, facilitating the IT savy crowd to donate .

Till then spread the word about the party and encourage your folks to VOTE for them .

I went through the website and was extremely impressed with their ideals and the clean nature of their website. It feels wonderful to know that educated and
well-meaning people are striving to change the face of our company. Reminded of Surya's dynamism in Yuva.

What are we doing here Shiv ? Blogging and commenting about it while trying to build an American dream ?

Nervously worrying about
F-1's and H-1's followed by the proverbial Green Card. Have you read the oath that every person needs to take before they become a permanent resident.

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the armed forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."

I wonder what fate the LP party will suffer at the elections. Maybe I am a coward but sometimes women have less of a choice on deciding where they want to stay. I really wish that I would have the opportunity to live and work in India and do my best to help society in the little ways that I can.

I am a little upset Shiv. At you. At me.

Listen to Rahman's song from Desam ..." Unthan desathin kural" and " Tamizha Tamizha" from Roja ...

Sighhh

Sorry for this drama :) You know I love you otherwise :)

any wing doesn't matter...what matters is what is going to be done...I personally am against the left...but, again, capitalism in itself isn't great...it's good...but needs refinement...now, ideally, left is good as far as ideals go on paper...but implementation wise...no where close...What LP shows as there philosophy...is perhaps the best way we can go...so what if it's right wing...most of the time in the name of secularism...absurdism is put up...:-)
So, LP needs to be given a chance...go LP go.
